"INDIE'D" - The Webcomic Strip

A misadventure about making indie games, presented in that old newspaper-comic-strip format you might remember from your childhood.

Jimmy is excited to make a video game for the first time, but doesn't know where to start! With a little help from his friends, he gets introduced to the world of indie game development, and all the ups and downs related to it. From programming, to game design, to contracting, to sustaining a living wage, Jimmy's determined to see things through and make the greatest video game of all time!

These comics are written by a software engineer (and part-time indie developer under the name "Dust Scratch Games"), loosely inspired by real-life experiences and conversations from him and other colleagues.

These strips were originally written in 2017, and is still ongoing as of 2021. This page will be updated with all new strips related to this comic. Strips are provided as .zip files containing individual strips as image files. Each "series" will contain between 100 - 150 strips when finished.
